The Club's founder with Guy Martin.Quite a number of the Membership will be attending Motorcycle Live over it's 9 day duration and today was the turn of the Club's founder George Girven to attend with his son Ben. The show was jam packed with exhibitors including all the main motorcycle manufacturers and local interest for us too in the shape of PipeWerx, the Ormskirk based high performance exhaust company (see photos in slideshow). There were also plenty of opportunities to try out the bikes including the off road experience. Live auctions on behalf of "Riders for Health" was well supported with lots of motorcycle stars in attendance and a chance to meet and greet them. George managed to have a most informative chat with Guy Martin on the Red Torpedo stand and picked up a couple of autographed items too. This is a 'must visit' stand with great gear on sale!
then onto West Kirby along the front, up through Caldy Village, Thurstaston, Heswall and Gayton.....at this point it started raining so we headed down to Parkgate and took refuge in a nice coffee shop for Tea, Bacon 'n Eggs. Unfortunately I had to be back for 2.30pm so left the others as they headed off down the Chester High Road for more adventures
