As the Club is on a weekend away next month in Taddington, a couple of the members decided to check out a scenic route for getting there, going from Staffordshire up into the Derbyshire Peak District using the B5053. This video covers the last quarter of the journey from leaving Longnor until arriving at the destination. The only problem on the day were the severe winds, gusting between 44 and 57 mph and certainly seemed much stronger when going over the 'top' You can certainly hear the wind being picked up by the Videocam's mic and see the bikes being blown about by the gusts.
The road and the stunning views certainly made it all worthwhile!

Went out on a last minute rideout around the Wirral. Met up at 11am with three of our members who had travelled over from Cheshire, went to the Farmers Arms and was nearly eaten by a hungry horse in the back car park 
then onto West Kirby along the front, up through Caldy Village, Thurstaston, Heswall and Gayton.....at this point it started raining so we headed down to Parkgate and took refuge in a nice coffee shop for Tea, Bacon 'n Eggs. Unfortunately I had to be back for 2.30pm so left the others as they headed off down the Chester High Road for more adventures 
My thanks to all three for the excellent company and it was good to be out on the bike again..... was a buzz, Cheers
